Relevant teaching experience: Completed a teaching internship programme in Peirce Secondary School (MOEJCTIP) In the past few years: Tutored lower secondary students’ science with significant improvement from F9 to B3 Tutored upper secondary integrated programme students, ‘O’ level pure Biology and pure Chemistry students, ‘N’ level combine Chemistry and Biology with improvement from F9 to A2, Tutored both primary school upper and lower primary, secondary school standard Chinese. My Experience
Teaching strategy: Materials are provided for lessons, also have notes from top jc schools that will be used during lessons. I strongly believe in active recall, and it is important to emphasize important key concepts and keywords so that students will be able to apply them when answering the questions. I will first go through the content and correct misconceptions. Nearing the examination, I will make students do timed practice to have more awareness of the time they spend and focus on exam-styled questions.
