About Myself
34 years of education service with MOE before retirement in end 2020 Was HOD Maths and specialised in teaching Maths and A Maths at upper secondary level. Have good track of records in using effective teaching pedagogy to help students grasp difficult concepts, relate concepts from the different aspect of the subject and apply them confidently in problem-solving.
My Experience
I have been tutoring Maths and A Maths on part-time basis since 2021. I only coached students in weekday afternoon and on Saturday morning. So far, my tutees have gained much confidence and achieved excellect progress in the subjects. A girl who I only started tuition in late July last year scored As in both her Maths and A Maths in the GCE O level exam, a vast improvement from C grade which she obtained in the mid-year exam in May. Another girl who failed her Sec 1 Maths last year took up tuition with me early this year has recently scored an A in the Sec 2 first semestral assessment.
