I am pretty good at teaching students how to create good arguments, step by step, in a systematic manner.
As for my own notes, I have created timelines of events in the syllabus - with which you will almost never run out of examples for your essays
I do 80/h for F2F tuition and 60/h for online tuition
I am patient in my teaching and uses alternative explanation to help the child understand the necessary. I give real life examples to link their learning to our society and life.
I believe in teaching to the student every student is unique, and I prefer to build rapport with the student in order to better understand his/her needs. I also believe in the importance of reviewing assignments and work. After all, there is no sense in continuous practice without pause for reflection and internalisation of the lessons learnt. I see my job as one of crystallising these lessons and packaging them in a manner easy to understand for the student. In addition, I also have a resource of exam practice papers based on the new syllabus to help my tutees.
Under my guidance, all my students made improvement by at least 2 grades. Last year, I guide a child from C to A grade in A level History within a span of 7 months.
