About Myself
I believe in a two-pronged approach for students to learn a subject well: concept grasping and using the correct exam techniques. By ensuring students appreciate and able to relate to the subject matter, students can further build their perseverance in tackling exam requirements. Seeking additional assistance during exam year is very common and a compatible tutor-student match can help a student transform and improve significantly!
My Experience
Full time tutor with more than 9 years of tutoring experience specialising in Sec , IP & JC Chemistry and Math. Past students have graduated with mainly A/Bs. Have taken students from a variety of JCs and am familiar with the Cambridge requirements. I know both H1 and H2 JC1/2 syllabus well, updated with the new practical skills needed for practical assessment and teach my tutees answering techniques and ways to do effective revision. I was previously from ACJC as a student, and achieved all H2 As for my A level examinations. I aspire to help my students achieve excellence and am committed to helping my students, whatever their abilities may be. An encouraging and patient teacher, my classes are organised and structured yet engaging, enabling students to be highly motivated. I am always eager to learn new skills and keen to build upon my knowledge and continue to learn within the area of education.
