About Myself
Familiar with the English PSLE syllabus and have taught PSLE classes as well and hence very well-versed with the curriculum. I have tutored students who were struggling to pass their exams and have lost interest in the subject. To help the students, we will go through the basics and when answering questions, I will explain each step when necessary. I also train them extensively on their composition-writing skills as well as oral techniques to help them score. I can also help my students who are academically stronger to stretch even further and obtain better grades by allowing them to practise and exposing them to questions that challenge them. This is also done by guiding them to adopt higher-level thinking especially with composition writing and comprehension.
My Experience
Current teacher with MOE, at Fernvale Primary School and have been teaching since 2009. I have also taught at Xinmin Primary previously. 15 years of teaching experience with MOE. Covering mainly upper primary English over the years. Depending on the students' learning ability I will alter the approach accordingly. I also possess English resources and materials for my students to improve on their language-ability. I have a strong track record of producing AL1s & AL2s for my private tutees over the years.
