About Myself
Teaching Approach: I like to first recognise the students strengths and weaknesses and start from there. I always try to strengthen the students learning foundation to be able to give them the confidence to stretch beyond their limits. Specialise in teaching Secondary English and Math students with them maintaining or improving grades. I always believe that it is most important and foremost to identify and help students to find their intrinsic motivation. With the correct motivation then next will be to identify the learning style of the student so that the teaching can be customise to best benefit the students' preferred way of learning. Explaining the concepts in simple terms and illustrating using life examples will get students to be more interested and better relate.
My Experience
I specialise in Secondary level English and Math for my students. More than 6 years of tutoring experience and I am now a graduated full time tutor. Taught at a student care centre for primary school students and was a tuition teacher for Math & Eng at a renowned tuition centre. I am a friendly and outgoing person and I am quite good with young children most of the time! I am patient with people too and for students who find it harder to grasp the concepts, I can break the question down accordingly. My students have improved under my methods, with many of them scoring A1 and A2s for their O levels, up from Cs and Bs in their prelims or mid terms.
