About Myself
I like to emphasise on the big picture first, then zoom in to smaller details after ensuring that the student knows the big overall concept. I encourage my student to do more practices because practice makes perfect and try to make my student more interested in the subject so that learning will be more fun! I also provide summary sheets + practice questions. I would say I am an adaptable, cheerful, hard-working and patient tutor. I strive to motivate my students to work hard and achieve good results not for others, but for themselves :) I’ll will try my very best to help and clear any underlying conceptual mistakes and help them improve.
My Experience
I have 3 years of tutoring experience having tutored 3 JC bio students after I ended my A levels. - D to B for J2 CT1 - C to A for J1 promos - C to A for J2 prelims All of my students ended up getting A for their H2 bio :). I was from RI, and was from the IP stream. Graduated from RGS with Higher Chinese A1, IP Bio: 86%, IP Math: 95%, IP Chem: 82%, IP Physics: 80%, IP Geog: 91%. I am a current NUS undergraduate in Medicine.
