About Myself
Currently a full-time private tutor and part-time enrichment centre teacher for 15 years. My specialisations are: Primary and Secondary English, Secondary Literature. Experienced with PSLE marking and oral examination over the years. I have a track record of getting students to improve by at least three grades within a few months through both stimulating the student's interest in the topic as well as taking them through targeted question and concept practices. I have in-depth knowledge for the components in the English paper and was also an oral examiner. I am exam focused and every tuition session will be dedicated to helping him achieve an A* for the PSLE. I am confident that there will be a marked improvement in your child's grades after one term of tuition.
My Experience
Former English MOE teacher with Eastspring Primary School. I served as the level head for English and have been teaching for more than 20 years. Well-verse in current MOE english syllabus and PSLE exam format as well as the PSLE marking assessment metrics. Committed and punctual tutor who puts in 100% for all my students. Able to break down challenging ideas and emphasis on important areas for each english component to enable my students to fully grasp the subject. Provide materials and resources such as exam notes, concise question banks and exam papers. Constantly strive to improve my subject knowledge and seek new methods to better cater to the needs of my students.
