About Myself
Current full time tutor specialising in Sec O & N level English. 11 years of tutoring experience, and am intimately familiar with the 'O' Level, and 'N' Level syllabi. I focus mainly on the N and O level syllabus and have tutored students who went on to become government scholars. Students were from schools such as Nanyang Girls High, National JC, Raffles Girls, ACSi, SJI, Raffles Institution, Maris Stella High, MGS, SCGS, Hwa Chong Institution, St Nicholas Girls, ACJC, Victoria Sch etc.
My Experience
I aim to also imbue in my students the ability to think logically and critically, as well as train them in scoring for the main and essay papers by analysing the questions, framing and evaluating their arguments and structure their answers coherently. Able to provide notes and materials to help my students in their understanding and exam revision and preparation. English Language is not only a subject I teach for a living, but also a subject I have a deep fondness for outside of my time at work. I enjoy continually developing my mastery of the language in my own time.I am a caring and friendly tutor. I tailor my teaching methods to suit the needs of the students. A teacher who has a passion for education and who possesses a proven track record of leading students to high academic achievement. Under my tutelage, hundreds of students over the years have learnt to overcome the stress in learning the English language.
