About Myself
I have been tutoring since my undergraduate days, and have accrued more than 20 years of tutoring experience. I specialise in English and have materials and materials for my students to improve on their problem-solving techniques and grasp on math formulae. Past students from , ACSi, Nanyang Girls High, Commonwealth Sec, Nan Chiau High, Crescent Girls, Jurong Sec, Bishan Park Sec, RVHS. With track record of 3 grades improvements - students scoring B3-A1) My style of teaching is very catered to my student's profile and learning level. At the start of the lesson, I speak to my student and the parents to better understand the student's standard and areas of difficulty. After a thorough understanding, I tailor my lessons to help my student improve in the shortest time possible and start achieving and excelling. My enthusiasm and passion for teaching rubs off my students who not only start to achieve but also love learning English. I'm confident I can help your child improve his grade.
My Experience
I am a formerly an English school teacher for more than 12 years at Woodgrove Secondary School, I was also the coordinator for English. Experienced with the O level syllabus and exam format as well as the marking scheme.
