About Myself
Current Nanyang Primary School teacher. 15 years of teaching experience specialising in primary level Chinese & higher Chinese. Previously taught at Rosyth School as well.
My Experience
I have more than 15 years of teaching experience specializing in Chinese and Higher Chinese for primary school students. I am very familiar with the PSLE exam format and marking requirements, having served as an examiner and marker previously. Passionate about the Chinese language and have taken students from a variety of language backgrounds and ability. Proactive and results-orientated individual who has produced many distinction students over the years for the PSLE. Along with being an enthusiastic tutor with patience and communication skills, I am also able to help weaker and disinterested students to improve and achieve their academic goals. I will be patient and understanding to suit my tutees needs. Most importantly, I wish to be seen as not just a subject tutor but a mentor to help them get interested in the language and culture. Qualified MOE Chinese/Higher Chinese teacher who holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts with Diploma in Education. Lessons are tailored to suit students needs.
