About Myself
I am a fresh graduate looking to start tutoring and am confident in teaching others with patience. I have always found that my own academic success comes from identifying the key concepts and then reinforcing them by explaining them to my peers. This habit not only helped me achieve strong results (NTU CGPA 4.70/5, A-Level 89 rank points, O-Level L1R5 8 points), but also developed my ability to simplify and communicate ideas clearly. During my A levels, I was selected by my Mathematics teacher to participate in peer tutoring sessions, where I guided classmates who were struggling. I found the experience fulfilling, especially when I saw them gain clarity on topics they once found difficult. This strengthened my passion for teaching and my belief in making learning an enjoyable and rewarding process.
My Experience
Peer Tutoring (A Levels) Selected by my Mathematics teacher to tutor classmates who required additional support. Guided them through key concepts, explained problem-solving techniques, and provided step-by-step walkthroughs. Many students reported improved understanding and confidence after the sessions. Informal Tutoring (University & Prior) Frequently helped peers clarify concepts in Mathematics, Computer Science, and related subjects by breaking down complex topics into simpler explanations. This reinforced my own mastery while improving their grasp of the material. Personal Approach My teaching style emphasizes patience, concept mastery, and clear communication. I adapt explanations based on each student’s learning pace, ensuring they not only know how to solve problems but also understand the underlying principles.
