About Myself
I am patient, creative and flexible in customising the lessons to meet the unique learning needs of the students. I also motivate students to enjoy lifelong learning. I enjoy teaching students to apply the knowledge that they acquire to answer questions and to benefit their personal lives. In addition, I excel at building the students' self-confidence in their ability to learn and flexibly apply the concepts. I am passionate about learning and imparting knowledge to the next generation. Lastly, I encourage and stimulate my students’ interest in learning.
My Experience
My specialisation lies in coaching secondary science students, covering lower secondary science and upper secondary science. I have been giving tuition since JC and have more than 6 years of experience in tutoring. Well-versed with the N and O level curriculum for science. I have also taught at a tuition centre. All of my students improved greatly in their grades. Most of them scored A1 - B3 range within 1 semester of tuition. I can prepare materials for the students, including notes and exam papers. My teaching style is open, and I encourage students to voice their doubts and participate in active discussions. I'm patient and aim to build the confidence in the subject.
