About Myself
I have previously graduated from top schools in Singapore such as Nanyang Girls High, Hwa Chong Junior College and NUS science faculty. I was a practicing doctor and now I am a full time tutor specialising in teaching Science. I aim to instill a love and passion for science even encouraging students to consider taking medicine in future. My teaching style is to explain concepts, mastery of scientific knowledge and facts, and clearly solving MCQs and structured questions. I adapt explanations based on each student’s learning pace, ensuring they not only know how to solve problems but also understand what they learnt in school and during the tuition. My main aim for the students is to improve their grades in Science and also grow their love of the subject. My results for PSLE is 3A and 1 A* in Math. My O level results is 7 distinction. My A level results is 3A and 1B.
My Experience
I'm a full time experienced science tutor who graduated from NUS. I taught at The Learning Lab covering Science. I focus on teaching lower and upper secondary sciences and am adept in teaching the weaknesses of most students- open ended question. I am patient, sincere, dedicated and friendly. I am familiar with MOE syllabus and guarantee an improvement in grades quickly.
