About Myself
18 year-old JC graduate. Kind and patient teacher. Teaches English, English Literature, Math and History. Schooling background: Kong Hwa School (2014-2019) Chung Cheng High (Main) (2020-2023) Dunman High School (Senior High) (2024-2025) PSLE T-Score: 253 English: A Math: A* Science: A Higher Chinese: A GCE O'Level Results: Total: 6 (raw), 2 (weighted) English: A1 English Literature: A1 Chinese: A1 Higher Chinese: A2 E Math: A1 A Math: A1 History/SS: A1 Though A level results have not been released, have received offers from overseas foreign language schools (SG and Japan) Highest in cohort in English Literature and History in secondary school and JC. Have taught English to many classmates and friends over the years. Had experience teaching English on language-learning forums like HelloTalk and Discord. Have taught many students from China. Possesses a strong passion in creative writing, having won awards and participated in national writing seminars. Was the youngest participant of MOE/Yale-NUS's Creative Arts Program in 2021, where he got to meet many of Singapore's top authors. Founded student publications in both secondary school and JC and headed student publications in both. Effectively bilingual (English and Chinese). Took H2 Translation (Chinese) on top of GP and H2 Literature in English in JC. Before entering secondary school, English was not very good, went for many well-known tuition centres like LearningLab, also had phonics lessons and english speech therapy as a child. Has the skills and knowledge to provide similar teaching services.
