About Myself
I was under the A*STAR Undergraduate Scholarship from 2017 to 2020 and was under the A*STAR Chairman's Honours List (awarded to the most outstanding A*STAR undergraduate scholars). In 2020, I graduated from NUS amongst the top undergraduates in my cohort, with a perfect CAP of 5.0. Besides being a consecutive Dean's List recipient from 2017 to 2020, I was also awarded the Singapore National Institute of Chemistry Medal and Book Prizes (awarded to the top Chemistry students). I am currently a Chemistry PhD student at Harvard University (US).
My Experience
8 years of experience tutoring. I have taught at a tuition centre in Parkway Parade since March 2016, mainly focusing on A level H2 Chemistry. Past students, including those from home tuition, include MJC, RVHS, DHS, VJC, ACJC, TMJC and NYJC. Grades achieved by students range from A to B. From Jan 2020-April 2020, I was a teaching assistant for a Year 3 Chemistry module (class size of 33), facilitating in-lecture discussions and conducting biweekly tutorials. As I pursue my graduate studies, I remain committed to nurturing the next generation of students. From 2021 to present, I have served as a graduate teaching fellow for undergraduate Chemistry courses at Harvard University (US). Currently, I am tutoring 3 other students in A lv chemistry and 1 student in poly chemistry (RP).
