I studied at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and graduated in 2025 after completing the November IBDP examinations. My pedagogy is guided by my belief that tangible and lasting academic growth is achieved through collaborative partnership. I envision building a supportive tutor-tutee relationship with you, tailoring sessions to your individual needs. Dedicated and passionate, I hope to equip you with knowledge and technique for examinations but most of all, to encourage your curiosity. One with keen intellectual curiosity and a sense of purpose, I enrolled into the Humanities Scholarship Programme awarded by the Ministry of Education in 2024. In the most recent November 2025 IBDP session, I scored 40 out of a possible 45 points, with 7s for all components of HL Economics. I achieved 260+3 points at PSLE in 2019, and studied in Methodist Girls’ School’s IP stream from 2020 to 2023. Beyond the IBDP curriculum, I am also conversant in historiography and current affairs. Having applied to universities in the UK, I was invited to interview at Oxford and hold offers from three renowned Russell Group universities. I would be glad to offer tutees applying for courses in similar fields admissions advice.
I currently am tutoring a Secondary 2 SOTA student English Literature. I have also served as a volunteer tutor working with underprivileged primary schoolers in 2024. As a volunteer tutor, I laid my foundations for my student-centric pedagogy. I engaged my students in both individual and group settings, and developed patience and articulation for effective teaching.
