About Myself
Blacklisted tutor who went missing on classes and MIA. As a former O and A levels student who did exceptionally well, I empathise with students entrenched in the struggles of having the pressure to do well in a test that have a considerable bearing on their future. As someone who has mastered how to ace Maths and Sciences subjects under timed conditions, I take pride in having the experience of guiding my students toward key revelatory moment when they fully understand and have the capacity to apply what they have learnt.
My Experience
I had the experience of teaching a small class of H2 Chem & Physics Students in a private tuition centre. I have been tutoring students for close to 2 years, specializing in JC/Secondary Chem, math and Physics. I am an undergraduate from River Valley High School who scored 90 rank points for A levels. During my tutoring part-time career, I have worked with students in one-on-one and group settings, both in-person and online. My approach focuses on interactive learning, where I encourage students to engage actively with the material through problem-solving and discussions rather than rote memorization. I customize my sessions based on each student’s unique learning style and weaknesses, ensuring that they grasp concepts thoroughly and are able to score maximum results for exams. One of my proudest achievements was helping a struggling A math student raise his grade from a C5 to A2 over the course of a few months. The success was a result of tailored lesson plans and consistent practice.
