Beyond academics, I am the first author of two Scopus-indexed Mathematics research papers, reflecting my strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a clear and logical way. I currently tutor an O-Level Chemistry and Physics student and have also mentored a junior in H2 Physics and Mathematics, who went on to top his JC1 cohort. I have a particular passion for Secondary and JC math and physics, focusing on helping students build strong conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorisation. Lessons are tailored to each student's learning needs, with customised notes and carefully selected practice questions provided where necessary. Being close in age to my students allows me to relate well to the challenges they face and create an engaging, supportive learning environment. Whether a student needs to strengthen their fundamentals or strive for distinction, I am committed to helping them gain confidence, improve their results, and develop a genuine appreciation for the subject.
I am an incoming NTU CN Yang Programme Scholar, pursuing a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Having recently completed the Singapore A-Levels, I attained distinctions in H2 Mathematics, H2 Physics, H3 Mathematics, and an A for H2 Chemistry. As I have recently gone through the curriculum myself, I am highly familiar with the latest syllabus, examination requirements, and effective study strategies.
