About Myself
The methods I use are to reinforce key language skills and provide targeted practice across different question types. Lessons are differentiated according to each student's ability, with particular attention given to identifying weaknesses and building confidence progressively. My approach is structured, patient and encouraging, while maintaining a strong focus on examination performance. Through consistent practice, feedback and targeted coaching, I aim to help students improve their language proficiency, develop stronger answering techniques and become more confident and independent English learners. My students have consistently achieved strong academic results, with many attaining A grades in school and national examinations.
My Experience
I am a former English teacher at Hai Sing Catholic School and Compassvale Secondary School, with more than 12 years of teaching experience. Having taught students of different abilities over the years, I am highly familiar with the O-Level English syllabus, examination requirements and skills needed to perform well in national examinations. My lessons focus on developing strong English language fundamentals, comprehension skills and effective writing techniques. For Paper 1, I place emphasis on composition writing, situational writing, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure and developing clear, well-organised ideas. For Paper 2, I train students in comprehension skills, inference, language techniques and answering questions accurately according to examination requirements.
